Assigning equalizer presets to songs |
|
It’s been a while since I wrote my last article, but the truth is I was in a contract hold out with the 2 Guy’s and a couple of other people - and yes it is true, they are not gay. The ladies may not flock to them, but nevertheless they are not gay. So I got a raise: I was awarded cheese and fish sticks with every article that I write. So with this great news I thought that I better get working and earn my paycheck.
So I would like to draw everyone’s attention to iTunes. We all know that this is a great jukebox but do most people understand why? I would like to show you an iTunes feature that most people don’t know about: Assigning equalizer presets to songs.
If you're like me, you want every song that you play to sound the absolutely the best. If you listen to a variety of song genres, then you can't set the equalizer to one type of genre but you can set every individual song to the equalizer setting for that particular song genre. It’s very easy and yes - these steps will work on iTunes for Windows.
With iTunes being opened -
1. Choose Edit > View Options.
2. Put a checkmark by Equalizer, then click OK.
3. Scroll the iTunes window horizontally so you can see the Equalizer column.
4. Locate the song in the list, then choose a preset from the pop-up menu in the Equalizer column.
These four easy steps are all that you need to make every song that is in your iTunes library sound perfect.

of coarse you can set the equalizer for all the songs in a genre in one fell swoop.
if you have browse by genre turn on.
select the genre, hit apple-I, answer warning question, set equalizer choice. computer does the rest of the work.
but surely it didn't take a gay man to tell you this.... ;-)

Just because a song falls under a genre doesn't mean that you can use just one equalizer setting.
But surely Matty you can understand that everything isn't straight forward.

Instead of a trap door, what about a trap window? The guy looks out it, and if he leans too far, he falls out. Wait. I guess that's like a regular window.
