 Michigan now has an Apple Store! Woohoo! Only 38 States left for Apple to conquer! ;)
We toughed out the 3 hour drive from rural Ohio and made it there for the shindig. We have pictures as promised, but not too many. The Twelve Oak Mall Security Guards said that taking pictures was against Mall policy. They wouldn't give us a reason behind that, and we couldn't figure out why that policy exists. We still snuck a few (heck, what were the rent-a-cops gonna do?), but some other Mac Geeks handed their cameras off to the Apple Store employees, who were more than happy to take pics. Why they were allowed, I have no clue.

The Apple Store in Troy, MI is due to open sometime in October or November - hopefully see you there!
