Ok, so the everyday drudgery of real life had kept me down in the pits of despair. And a severe case of writers block and the complete lack of anything superbly exciting going on in the world of Steve have kept me away and locked in a dungeon for the last 4 months. I emerge now to let my many fans know that I am alive and ok. (Ok, so really my mom was the only one who cared.)
I do have some Apple related news to relate. Rumored features of iChat 2.0:
- Resizable field to enter text, not limited to viewing one line at a time.
- Font and Color will be added to IM window instead of just in menu bar.
- Available icon will distinguish between the different clients, AIM, AOL, iChat etc.
- More information will be displayed when cursor is idle over Buddy’s name in Buddy List such as “On Since” time, and availability status.
- Compatibility with ICQ user base planned.
- Compatibility with webcams and iLink (FireWire) enabled videocameras.
- Option for time stamps to occur with conversation.
- Better compatibility with AIM Express (web-based client).
- Tighter integration with inkwell technology.
- Option to make icon in dock bounce continuously until IM is acknowledged.
So with that being said I am heading back to my pit of despair, unless things really start to get exciting. Take care, and remember, fish sticks are nutritious and delicious.

It's interesting to think that my ancestors used to live in the trees, like apes, until finally they got the nerve to head out onto the plains, where some were probably hit by cars.
