In an open Finder window, there are shortcut keys for icon, list and column view. Pressing Apple-1 brings up list view, Apple-2 does list view, and Apple-3 is column view.
That's it and that's all.

Thought of another one of my favourites, when you are saving a document and you have the 'save as' dialogue box open, press apple+D to get the save location to jump to the desktop.
