Dude, you're on your last legs...
Whilst watching some football, a Gateway ad appeared on the telly. The aforementioned ad rips Dell Computer, even going so far to say "Dude, you're still getting a Dell?" In case you missed it, Gateway recently unveiled a TV ad comparing the new Gateway Profile to Apple's iMac.

While we may be a bit biased, we try to be as objective as possible - and I don't think these ads are doing a bit of good for Gateway. Unlike Dell and Apple, Gateway is bleeding money, and going head-to-head against your 2 strongest competitors may not be the smartest idea...especially when your products really aren't as good (at least in the case of the iMac).

This is just me, but I think there's a good possibility we won't be watching any Gateway ads a year from now. But who knows - maybe they'll turn the ship around. Then again, maybe the Buffalo Bills will win the Super Bowl. Narf!

Somebody told me how frightening it was how much topsoil we are losing each year, but I told that story around the campfire and nobody got scared.
