Apple Doesn't Release Stuff Today! |
|
In a stunning move today, Apple Computer released nothing. Hot on the heels of last week's Xserve updates and the 10.2.4 upgrade to Mac OS X, today's news was a total surprise to the Mac community.
Apple has released new products in the early part of the week for three straight weeks, prompting speculators to make wild and sometimes uninformed guesses as to what Apple may debut this week. But no one expected THIS. As Jeff from South Dakota points out, "Man, I know they purchased Nothing Real a while back, but who'd have thought they would debut nothing? This is great! I'm going to buy two!".
Many Mac rumor sites expected something far more tangible, such as iPods. Other people thought perhaps it would be iBooks. Or maybe even an iPDA or iPhone to enhance your digital lifestyle. No, Steve's vision is far greater than any of us could have possibly realized.
Apple has not confirmed a shipping date, or in fact displayed any information on their Web site, or for that matter, even said anything about it at all. But we all know that this product will change the way we live forever. |

I wish a robot would get elected president. That way, when he came to town, we could all take a shot at him and not feel too bad.
