This is useful in case you need to call Apple's Tech Support or for some other reason need your serial number quickly:
Go to Apple -> About This Mac. Click where it says the version number, i.e. "Version 10.2.4". The first time you do this it will show you the build of the version of OS X you're running, but click again, and you'll be presented with your serial number!!! Seriously check it out!!! NOW DAMNIT!!!
