This Week on iTMS - 02/08/05 |
|
Valentine's Day is almost upon us. It's time to set the mood for your romantic encounters with some great downloads from iTMS.
For those of you who plan on getting down with the freak freak, iTMS has a nice selection of love songs for you to lay down by the fire to. For the rest of us loveless losers whose "romantic" Valentine's Day plans include being lonely, getting drunk by ourselves, stalking our ex-girlfriends, making voodoo dolls of famous celebrities who won't return our fan mail, and then finally passing out in an alcoholic haze while watching Lord Of The G-Strings, there is our own list of songs that may or may not make you feel better about being single. But I digress.
Speaking of love songs, the free download of the week is called Long Ways by Urban Mystic. I think it's about love... or breaking-up... or a guy begging his girl not to break-up with him. Either way, it's slow and it has a nice beat. If you're having problems with your boyfriend / girlfriend / one-legged puppy, you can probably play this song and make everything better.
Now onto the business of Top Song. It seems 50 Cent has usurped Green Day for the top spot. I'm not a big fan of 50 so I can't really give an unbiased review of his song "Candy Shop", but if it made it to #1 on iTunes it must be... OK.
That's all I have this week. Check out our iMix and keep listening to music. Because without music Christina Aguilera would be just another singing hooker. |

Doesn't Spears already have that status? Rich singing hooker.
