iPod Grocery list |
|
I have the memory of... umm... what is that animal that can't remember anything after like 2 seconds? Crap, I forget. Anyway, I can't remember things very well. This becomes very frustrating while grocery shopping, because I have recently started a new diet. My old diet consisted of whatever the current deal at the nearest fast food drive thru was. So, now that I am eating healthy I need to remember specific brands of food that I know are good. I've tried writing down a shopping list, but that's so 20th century, and besides 90% of the time I just forget the damn list. I tried putting it in my PDA, but ever since I got my iPod Photo, I haven't been carrying my PDA.
But I always take my iPod everywhere I go. So I started taking pictures of foods I like with my digital camera, and made a photo album called "shopping list", so that when I am out shopping, I can just pull up that list and look at the pictures of what I want. Much cooler (read: geekier) then a simple paper, and plus I can look for the specific package, and not just the name. (after all, that's why they spend so much time on packages for product recognition, right?)
While my family was making fun of me for having a shopping list photo album in iPhoto, I got to thinking. What other off the wall things do people use their iPod Photo's for? What brilliant ideas do you guys have for using your iPod Photo? |

If I had an iPod photo, I'd be forced to use it to battle my early senility. It would be like that dude in that movie 'Memento'...'My car','my house','Natalie','Mom'...you know.

I wouldn't buy brands, buy fruits and vegetables which are nourishing nectar of goodness and don't need brand names :D But if you are going to buy pre-made foods look for things without "hydrogenated" oils, partially or not, and organic stuff is good. soymilk vanilla is also good :o

Deep Thoughts |

When I was a kid my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school we'd all go play in his cave, and every once in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a bear.
