Essential Dell Security Programs |
|
Starting our new Dell site, we thought people should be advised of the programs they should have installed before starting day-to-day usage of a Windows-equipped Dell computer.
So without further ado, here are some absolutely essential Dell Privacy and Security Programs:
Ad-ware
Dell Ad Watcher - Instead of blocking and eliminating Ad-ware, Dell takes this program one step further and stores all of the ads for you so that you may view them while you are off-line as well as on.
Spy-ware
Dell Spy Enforcer - This, again unlike other programs like it, Spy-ware program takes Spy-ware to the next level. Instead of removing spy-ware from your system, the Dell Spy Enforcer makes sure they work properly, because who wants system resources going to waste?
Anti-virus
Dell Infectinator - With the latest anti-virus technology on the net, the Dell Infectinator detects all viruses and stores them for later use. They should not be able to escape, but if they do, the proficiency of the Infectinator will detect the escaped virus and delete everything on your hard drive before the viruses can get to your important data.
Firewall
Dell Port COP - Port COP (Cannot Open Port) will not let any information into or out of your computer. Remember, garbage in, garbage out.
Spam Filter
Dell Mail Sifter 7000 - The Mail Sifter 7000 is specially tweaked to keep all e-mail that could potentially be spam out of your inbox. To do this we, using our previously mentioned "Spy Enforcer" technology will read all of your mail and get it back to you within three to four weeks of the time it was sent.
The Dell Sphinctifier - We have no idea what it does, but Dell assures us it is necessary. We have reason to believe that it is used to open an output port and inputting large amounts of data that previously was unwanted. After the first few downloads the discomfort seems to diminish and you will start to enjoy all that the Sphinctifier has to offer - so we are told.
