The Discrimination Trifecta is Complete |
|
 I was going to write a very informative article commenting on the chance that desktop Linux has to gain some market share since Longhorn is delayed. Then I thought about the Apple/Intel rumors and how interesting they were. And then I almost wrote about the confirmed rumors that Apple is creating a Tablet PC that runs OS X. In fact, I may still write about some of these things, but once I saw this headline I knew I had my story for the week:
Obese-Size Black Lesbian Sues Apple for Discrimination
You know . . .
I mean . . .
Its just that . . .
What were . . .
No
Words escape me on this one.
She sues Apple because they discriminated against her. Why?
Because she was black.
And female.
And gay.
And muslim.
And communist.
And a nazi.
And a vegan.
And a moron.
No wait, I threw those last couple in there myself. By the way, anyone who regularly reads my articles should be very proud of me. Because normally after reading *stuff* like this I would tend to curse like a drunken, one eyed pirate who just hit his thumb with a hammer after catching his wife in bed with another man.
But I have decided to contain my rage. Ok, I have decided to try and contain my rage. But it's hard. Because this is a really really stupid lawsuit. And I hate stupid lawsuits.
A lot.
More than I hate people who dress their animals up in clothes, more than I hate people who drive 5 miles under the speed limit in the fast lane and more than I hate France, I HATE stupid lawsuits.
And this one, my friends, takes the cake.
Now don't get me wrong, I can't abide a racist, but I also despise people who "play the race card" just to get what they want. And that is what this case looks like. It sounds like someone who is incompetent getting fired and then getting mad because management finally realized they had the brain power of toasted wheat bread.
I feel bad for her boss because he has now been called a sexist racist. Chances are he isn't, but good luck proving it. There are people on this site who have called me racist for even mentioning someone's ethnicity and let me tell you, its very a hard accusation to prove false.
So to that end I hope Apple doesn't pay her a dime. And furthermore, I hope her ex-boss sues her for slander. Idiot.

I'm with you here. If this "person" has a real case then so be it, but then...
Sounds to me like they forgot the word "angry" in the rather lengthy discription of this "person", as in "Angry Obese-Size Black Lesbian"; It just has a nice ring to it. ;-)
PS I'm a poor dutch boy that was adopted by a nice french family. (Okay, we're all Americans, but that is where our families came from.)
PPS By the way I didn't call you a racist, I just said you were coming close. ;-)

I'm not entirely racist - only to people who still live in France. If your ancestors came from France - they had the sense to leave that land of crap.
Also - this lawsuit sounds like a big crock of bull. Apple has never discriminated against [doodoo]. They would hire a fly if it was qualified!

I'm pretty sure she's also suing regarding a luncheon that Apple held a couple of months ago. She said she found a finger in her soup... chili... "something hot" she said...

I am not racist, but I have been mistaken for one many a time. I've also been called a gay-basher...and I'm gay. Sadly, neither of these are true, but when I see stupidity in action, I call it.
This is stupidity in action. I am sure that racism exists, I know it for a fact. However, I'd say that a large portion of the accusations made today are not based on fact. It's sad.

Humans are stupid. And I for one can't wait for the day this planet decides to rid itself of all humans. I'll be happy to go knowing the rest of you are as well.
Ok if not ALL humans then at least all lawyers, politicians and religious figures need to go ... oh, and sales people.
People shouldn't be judged by their race, sex mode, or any physical aspects, they should be judged by their actions. All the above hypocritical professions breed liars and bastards.
