Based on the "news" from NewScientist.com, that states that women need wider spaces to be productive on the computer (and off), it is rumored that Apple is considering releasing a series of products designed to make women more comfortable and more productive. It is odd to me as a married man that this is news to the rest of the world, most women seem to like bigger areas: large kitchens, bathrooms, bedroom, and even chairs! And on a side note, it seems that they almost require larger parking spaces.
Apple, however, seems to be taking a different approach to the topic with iWoman. It will be a total computing environment for your female employee, student, or even your wife. iWoman starts with a wide-screen display, as the research suggests, but keeps the boulder rolling with a wider, more recliner-like, computer chair (with built in heat and massage). But don't even think for one minute that Apple stopped there. Next, they added a larger keyboard with twice as many keys (in case one set of keys "is not working right"), and it will also be the first released dual-mouse system (in case one is misplaced with her car keys - geesh). This desk even comes with a recommendation for a huge, elaborate desk that is very pretty and even comes with scented shelf-paper lining the desk drawers.
Now before you start sending me hate mail, I would like to go on record as saying that I DID NOT DO THIS RESEARCH! I simply stumbled upon it. So please, don't kill the messenger. |

Remember ladies, this site is first and foremost a humor site, and that's the category this article is in, so please take it as such :)
It's also some very interesting research that Carnegie Mellon and MS did, but if that means that the womenfolk get Cinema Displays and I get a 15" CRT, I'll be pissed! ;)

it was a MICROSOFT research! it had also women are 20 % slower on M$ products - on windows ... so what? i hate crappy researches like that. if they'd market a computer for women, i'd NEVER buy it. i hate anything from food to most clothes that are for women so i never buy that crap anyway. well i got a pile of apple t shirts some weeks ago so i dont have to buy clothes designed for women anyway ..
