OK, so answer me this! Why does Software Update tell me it wants 330 MB on my system partition, but the stand-alone updater is only 5.7 MB? What a gyp!

Jonahan 5/7/03, 11:14 AM EDT
That's wierd...mine says it's 6.1 MB... :\

stickman67 5/7/03, 9:20 PM EDT
Well, let's just say "around 6 MB" and have a cold beer!

AFAIK, the only thing that this release really does (aside from including the already implemented changes from 10.2.5 if you were to upgrade from 10.2.4 or previous) is the "enhancement" of fixing 10.2.5's kernel panic problem with certain USB hubs, which I experienced first hand.

 Deep Thoughts
Life, to me, is like a quiet forest pool, one that needs a direct hit from a big rock half-buried in the ground. You pull and you pull, but you can't get the rock out of the ground. So you give it a good kick, but you lose your balance and go skidding down the hill toward the pool. Then out comes a big Hawaiian man who was screwing his wife beside the pool because they thought it was real pretty. He tells you to get out of there, but you start faking it, like you're talking Hawaiian, and then he gets mad and chases you...
