An Explanation Of Our Inability To Post |
|
All of us here at 2GAMAAW are warn out. We are hung over, and pooped. Hence the no new articles over the past few days. Why, you ask? Because in order to be first in line when the Apple Store at Easton started selling Panther, we have been camped out in front of the store since it was announced in July. Well, maybe not all of us. By "we", I mean we coaxed Jedbeck into camping out in front of the store with the promise of caribbean jerk chicken wings, a block of camembert cheese, and a box of Fruit Roll-up's Fun 'n' Games Burstin' Berry (all of which you'll get soon Jedbeck).
But it was worth it! We were, in fact, first in line - and we didn't even have to kill anybody! We were the first ones in the Apple Store, but we weren't the first to buy Panther. The reason we weren't first to buy it? Because we pre-ordered it the day it was announced. So why did we send one of the founding members down to Columbus to sit in front of the Apple store for three months, and then drive two hours to join him on the 24th just to be the first to walk in the Apple store at 8PM, and not buy anything at all?
Free stuff.
After hearing that Apple was going "all out" for the release party, we couldn't resist. Plus it was a great opportunity to hand out L.A.M.U.G. flyers. So we made a hundred copies of the flyer and headed down to Easton with high hopes for the free gift. Slackin wanted a shirt, HTML Samurai wanted a mousepad, Jonahan was hoping for a cheese grater, Jedbeck just wanted someone to substitute for him for a little bit while he went the bathroom, while I was hoping for a free Mac or something. Turns out it was a dog tag. Well, we all went in a couple times to get more and wore them with pride when we went to Damon's Grill.
So anyway, we are all still hungover from the experience, and we should be back to normal posting soon. Which now that we think of it, normal posting is rather erratic anyway. So let's just say we hope to write some articles sometime soon!
Editor: Jedbeck sends his regards as he cannot type due to little weiner dogs chewing off his fingers as he slept.

I'd like to see a nude opera, because when they hit those high notes, I bet you can really see it in those genitals.
