MTV's 2003 VMA's Show Much Flesh; Mac Use |
|
 Well, if you haven't heard, you should have. At least, any red-blooded male should have. At the MTV's 2003 Video Music Awards last Thursday, Madonna swapped spit with both Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
As if that weren't interesting enough, Run and DMC paid their respects to the late great Jam Master Jay. How does this relate to anything in the world of Apple, you ask? Well, it turns out that JMJ was such a hardcore Mac user that Run and DMC decided to honor him wearing a jersey with his favorite processor on it. (Hey, he passed almost a year ago, when the G5 was a distant hope)
And yes, we're probably already going to H-E-double hockey sticks for other sins, so what the hey! It's all in jest, and we really love and respect Run DMC.

You know, even though I have a couple of Run DMC albums, I didn't have a clue that JMJ passed away.
Anyone know exactly how he died? Was it the typical gangsta-rappa shooting death?

Yes, it was. Somebody stormed in the studio and shot him.

Shot yes, but unlike some OTHER rappers who got killed, Jay never invited that kind of violence into his life. Sad stuff.
