 The Evolution of 2 Guys
Hey everyone! 2 Guys, a Mac and a Website, the site with the URL that just won't quit, will possibly be undergoing a name change soon. As some of you may have noticed, there are more than 2 Guys posting to this site (there's also more than one Mac, but there's still just one Web site as far as I know).

If you want to get really technical about things, the name of the site should be: "5 Guys, a Girl, 3 iBooks, 2 iMacs, 2 PowerMacs, a Linux box, a Web Site, and what the heck, howsabout some pants thrown in for good measure". Now, while that would be an ... erm...unique... name it would also be a pretty ugly URL. Plus, correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think we've already broken the record for the longest domain name in the history of the Mac Web, so I don't think we need to go that route.

No, we need a regime change. (What's that? Oh ok, thank you Polly) Our resident manatee, Polly, has just informed me that apparently "regime" doesn't mean what I thought it meant. Sorry, it's just all these reporters are saying it and I wanted to say it too.

But seriously though, folks - we need a new name and are considering a few different ones. And you can help us decide down there in that voting/poll thingy. MacIdiots is the staff favorite, but let us know what you think.

Also, thanks to Bill Chin for letting me know I was a complete idiot in my "Algore? Inventor of the ... Apple" article by saying that Oracle doesn't make anything for the Mac OS. Oracle's Oracle9 iJDeveloper v9.0.3 was made available for download last December (although you have to fill out a long-ass survey to be able to download it). Sorry for the error, but that's just one more reason for us to change our name to MacIdiots!

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.
