Thanks sir, we had fun doing it ! We'd like to continue it, and maybe even get a sponsor so we can devote more and more time to it and 2 Guys in general. We'll see.

How about making a real radio station instead ? That'd be fun. Nowadays this can be done via p2p.

Hmmm... like a streaming feed? Enlighten me...
I like the podcast way of things because (once you have a working RSS 2.0 feed with audio enclosures) your Podcast aggregator does allthe work in the background and you listen when you want to.

Yeah, streaming media, like all the radio stations use. I've seen a program (which is right now only availible for windows, but give me some time and i bet i could find a port) that doe the following:
The original stream is availible in a simple p2p network. Same stream is send to peers with stronger bandwidth first and then from there to the weaker nodes. That basicly means that the radio server is only sending it's stream to the strongest nodes, which then further distribute the stream. The same principle that is used in almost all p2p applications. Normally radio stream eat lots and lots of bandwidth, but using this technique you'll most likely be able to have a radio stream for lots of person on a normal cable or dsl connection.

Great job, loved the additions of a partner!
cAtraXx has a good idea. The Mac web could use a fulll-time talk radio station or even a part-time one. I have been toying with creating a web-only call in show, but I am still trying to work out the details. If you start the station, I'll provide a second show! Hmmmm. This might even be a better idea than G.O.M.U.G.

Ok, I'm late getting back to this buuut....
That sounds cool dab2. OF course, as a podcast format, you couldn't do a call-in. But you could always webcast first and then redistribute via podcast later (of course saying not to call in then).

If the Vikings were around today, they would probably be amazed at how much glow-in-the-dark stuff we have, and how we take so much of it for granted.
