 Mac Mini Car Stereo?
When Steve Jobs first showed the world the Mac Mini on the stage at Macworld, the very first thing everyone thought of was "Hey that would make a great car stereo!" Well, OK, maybe not everybody's first thought was how killer of a car stereo it would make. Maybe it was more like 90% of people... Or less. OK, a lot less. But at least a few people thought of that, which is obvious when a simple Google search for "Mac Mini Car" produces about 1,320,000 results. But perhaps the best looking addition of a computer to a car comes to us from a TunerTricks Blog.

GTi used a high-end Mac Mini with super drive, 7" touch screen, Power mate, and a Radio Shark and installed it in his VW. Not only is that one impressive stereo, but the installation is nothing short of spectacular.

Of course, it begs the question; Do you really need to burn a Dvd while driving? The obvious answer is "of course you do, captain skepti-pants". But it really makes you wonder how many pot holes it would take to turn an hour and a half disc burning session from iDVD in to one fierce beer coaster.

Well, what ever the answer actually is, and no matter how useful this thing may, or may not, be, you should defiantly check this out, the installation is superb.

This is amazing. Absolutely amazing. That guy should get a medal. It almost looks as if Apple themselves constructed this.

I will defy your command to check that link out.

Ok, I caved in and checked it out. Wow. That is freaking cool. Now he needs some sort of global wireless access. :)
