Apple Surprises Boston Expo With New Product Debut |
|
Well folks, Macworld Boston is underway! Obviously the lack of Apple's presence along with the absence of many other major developers is a big drawback, but the show is going on without a hitch and everyone present is having a grand old time. We were unable to attend due to work, school, and/or drug dealing duties, but sources of ours at the show tell us that something beyond our wildest dreams has happened at the Boston Expo.
Apparently, Apple pulled a fast one on us by holding a surprise keynote speech to unveil an entirely new product line. Steve headlined the gig, although Phil Schiller popped on stage for a brief moment to hold the obligatory product bakeoff/benchmark test.
Seriously!
We wouldn't have believed it ourselves if not for the fact that after a bit of digging, we found a Web page devoted to the product on one of Apple's lesser-used domains. You know how Apple uses stuff like mammals.org, newton.com, and xserve.com to point to their site? Well a domain called "animalescapes.com" points us to this new product, and there's really no way to describe it other than revolutionary. Apple is entering a whole new market with the device and ... well, without any futher ado, here's the link:
http://animalescapes.com/
Disclaimer: Look, before you start thinking you can actually buy this, think about where you're getting this information. On second thought, if you believe this hype, not only do we have a bridge to sell you, but would also like to say that if you donate lots of money to us, then Steve Jobs will come to your door and award you with one of each Apple product ever made. Plus we will like you a whole bunch more than we already do (at least this last part is true). |

It's crazy, but no, I don't think anyone has realized this has actually HAPPENED yet. I think they were all out in the lobby eating donuts or something while the keynote was going on.
Ah well, that just means I get mine earlier because I just pre-ordered, baby!

That's a freakin' shame, man! This is probably the best Apple product since the WiFi enabled iToast, the internet toaster.

Aw gee thanks... but if I remember correctly, the whole idea of doing a fake web site was SJH's.
Of course the whole thing was a creative collaboration of idiocy, which is really something the world needs more of.

Isn't it funny how whenever we go to a county fair or a state fair, the first thing we do is see if they have some kind of pornography booth.
