Chimera, known more for it's skill at web browsing than stick handling, scored two goals last night and added a late assist to give the Edmonton Oliers a 5-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild. The gritty center hasn't played much in the NHL until this year, which is probably why the Mac/Unix community didn't know he was multi-talented.
Chimera noted that some of his skills as a web browser have helped him in the hockey world, especially his speedy page rendering and tabbed browsing. Likewise, his strong forechecking allows him to block any unrequested pop-ups with ease.
Chimera is still a beta however, and it's not hard to look down the road and imagine how good this kid could be. Could the next two-sport athelete spring from the Mac community? Only time will tell.

Tune in next time when due to an unfortunate sticking incident, Chimera will have to assume a new identity...and a new name.

The old-timers around here still shake their heads and chuckle about that city slicker who came through, trying to peddle "hair restorer." He took everyone's money in a poker game, so when he tried to sell the bottles of hair restorer, nobody had any money left to buy it!
