Gateway Starts Ad Campaign - And a War |
|
 Gateway recently unveiled their new ad campaign that, in short, targets the look, price, and performance of the iMac. While most people who have ever used a Mac probably won't be swayed by these ads, we at 2 Guys just had to set the record straight (for those 4 people reading!). Forgive us if we stray from our usual humorous tone - as Gateway has pitched the first stones of war and awoken this giant from it's slumber. Gateway - IT'S ON!
Ok, first thing - Gateway has the nads to say their new Profile all-in-one is actually cooler than the iMac. Righhhhht. And Bill Gates is cooler than Steve Jobs. Seriously, let us know if you think this Profile is anywhere close to "sleek" (Bloorrrrchblooorrrrrrrrch... roooooooork.... ack...ack...ack........ ah.....whooo....ok, had some involuntary hurling there...better now, just got...ack....ack.....dry heaves) ... and we'll come over there and beat a sense of taste into you. And we'll burn your Slayer CD's while we're at it.
 Secondly, Gateway had a commission done.... ok, sorry I just can't get over this. Look, if you think the Profile is "cool" or "sleek" or "hip" then stop reading this. Right now! We don't want your kind on our site. Leave this instant.
Goddammit - that does it - we're coming over there and you are dead meat. |
