Music Industry Settlement Makes People $13.86 Richer
According to the Dayton Daily News, "more than 115,000 individuals will get small checks over the next two weeks as part of a national settlement with the music industry over alleged price fixing".
Over 3.5 million people will be receiving checks for $13.86. Other terms of the settlement stipulate that "libraries and schools across the country will get about $76 million worth of music CDs".
"The check distribution involves consumers who bought CDs, cassettes and albums from 1995 through 2000. Check recipients had to file claims by March 2003."
Recipients of the checks are encouraged to check out the iTunes Music Store for further music purchases!

If there was a big gardening convention, and you got up and gave a speech in favor of fast-motion gardening, I bet you would get booed right off the stage. They're just not ready.
