 51 days and 51 nights
I work in a job that allows me to surf the Internet on a regular basis. In fact, surfing the Internet is the only thing that keeps me from going insane at said job. With surfing the Internet being such a regular occurrence in my life, I have a certain routine of what sites I visit. I always start off with my Mac sites, macminute.com, macosxhints.com, 2 guys, macosx.com, ect. And I always go to appleturns.com.

I always go. For 51 straight days I have gone to the site, and been disappointed. It has been 51 days since the last article was posted on the page, with the following quote almost mocking me:

"Tuesday, 2:37 AM: We're back, and as far as we know, most of us will be staying off the road for the foreseeable future, so maybe we'll actually get some regular episodes going again. But we really wouldn't want to see the Vegas odds. ;-)"

I remember the good old days when there was a new "episode" everyday. I remember how bad I thought it was when they were having DSL troubles, and I had to go to macaddict.com or straight to the IP to get my fix. I never imagined it could be this bad.

To Jack and Katie: I know you have a newborn baby, and I understand that will put a serious strain on other aspects of your life. But I miss AppleTurns' humor, insight, and down right satirical look into all things Apple. I just hope that it isn't anything more serious than a lack of time.

So I am pleading: please, please, please Jack & Katie, please bring back AppleTurns. I miss it so...

And Jack & Katie, if you read this if you are all right.

Go to killfrog.com too. Watch some of the animations. Funniest things I ever have seen.

I know that Jack had been writing for MacAddict, and maybe that's been eating up his time. In last month's issue he had a great article about April fool's Day pranks.

I miss AppleTurns too, but the MacAddict gig probly pays a lot more ;)

The world is small. my first click goes just to refresh macosx.com .. :p

It looks like macosx.com has redone their site - looks very nice :) I had problems registering at the site a while back, but that may have been the Safari cookie problem (I forget what browser I was using). I'll have to check it out. ;)

 Deep Thoughts
When you die, if you go somewhere where they ask you a bunch of questions about your life and what you learned and all, I think a good way to get out of it is just to say, "No speaka English."
