 The Evilness of BuyMusic.com
Ok, so this was originally posted in the forums. And it's still there. But I haven't written anything for a while, plus I want everyone to see the first really useful article I have ever written.

As everyone knows (I hope), BuyMusic.com is the new subject of discussion on all the Mac sites. Let's say its not a good or happy subject. BuyMusic.com is basically a ripoff of the iTunes Music Store. Only it sucks.

Now I'm sure Windows people will think it's great because BM.com claims their songs are only 79 cents. Ok. That's cool and all that, but can I ask what songs here are actually 79 cents? I've looked through the songs and can find none at all. Oh wait. Here's one...by someone I 've never even heard of before!

Come on BM.com...which big, fat, huge-egoed music artist will actually let you sell their song for a cheap 79 cents?! Huh??? Most songs are actually 99 cents. Some even go higher - like up to $1.19.

But that's not all. No sir-ee. The best part is that each song has its own specific rules. Like, lets take Matchbox 20's song, 3 AM, and an Ozzie Osborne song.

3 AM might cost 99¢, be able to be burned to two cds, traded to another computer once, and put three times onto... whatever kind of music players can read Windows Media format, because BM.com doesn't use MP3. And the the Ozzie song might be $1.19, be able to be burned five times, never traded to another computer, and put an unlimited amount of times onto a WMA player.

And to top it all off, let's talk about BM.com's commercials. When I saw one on TV, my first thought was: "Hey cool. New iTunes and iPod commercials". It is just sickening. They show people standing there with a white backround. They are holding what looks to be an iPod but is a different color and the screen and buttons are rearranged a bit. And these people are singing! Just like the iTunes Music Store commercials!

Ok, I'm too ticked to write any more. I'm going to go outside and get a breath of that fresh New York City air! Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Is Apple legal doing anything about this yet? Has anyone heard?

 Deep Thoughts
I wouldn't be surprised if someday some fishermen caught a big shark and cut it open, and there inside was a whole person. Then they cut the person open, and in him is a little baby shark. And in the baby shark there isn't a person, because it would be too small. But there's a little doll or something, like a Johnny Combat little toy guy---something like that.
