Mac OS X 10.3.2 Coming Soon?
Apple is probably busy as a bee getting 10.3.2 ready to release. Recently Apple released ideas for it to developers. Here are some of the features/fixes that the update provides:
1. Improved file sharing and directory services for mixed Mac and PC networks
2. Improved font management
3. More robust printing to PostScript printers
4. FileVault, Firewire 800, WebDAV and USB Printing improvements from Update 10.3.1
5. Updated Mail and Address Book applications
6. New ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers
7. Previous standalone security updates
Hmmmm... I could use the printer update. Mine's been kinda slow, or it deletes the print. Oh wait, I still don't have Panther. Crap.

I just want Mail to play "I got mail, yay!" everytime I get a new message, but it won't. I've adjusted my prefs, I've made rules, but it still won't do it. So now I have to say it myself and it's very sad.

i still need to figure out how to set up mail. I use hotmail but i don't know the POP and all that to hook Mail to it.

lol just read that Jimmy Mugs. Great idea!

I had that problem though. If you can select a sound, but it doesn't play in Mail, it's probably in the wrong format. Even if a sound is .aiff or .wav sometimes they won't play in Mail. I had to use SoundStudio (I -think- that was the name of it) and make it a "Mac OS X AIFF".

Wasabster, I dunno if you can use Hotmail with Mail ... but if were somehow able to, your Mac will shoot lemon juice into your eyes and then deliver a nice jolt of electricity. Hotmail!? On a Mac? Come on man, think of the consequences! (Ok, I really don't know what consequences there could be, but I just wanted to say that.)

Whenever someone asks me to define love, I usually think for a minute, then I spin around and pin the guy's arm behind his back. Now who's asking the questions?
