 Minimize in Place
For those of you who haven't found this little gem elsewhere on the web, here it is. It's the Minimize in Place feature that Apple removed from OS X 10.2 shortly before it's release, and it is so cool your pants are gonna fly off. So, needless to say, don't try this at work.

It does exactly what it says - Minimizes an application, window or document to a spot on the screen. You can keep the minimized 'aqua-lings' wherever you want on the screen. We figure Apple left it out because it may cause some confusion as to what the Dock's purpose is if you have these little things minimized all over the place. However, on the other hand, you can always turn it on or off in your System Preferences, so it would've been cool had it been included in 10.2.

Update - 3:11 PM
Have Minimize in Place turned on and you want just 1 item to minimize to the dock? Hold down Option and click the minimize button. A very cool feature :)

Instead of mousetraps, what about baby traps? Not to harm the babies, but just to hold them down until they can be removed.
