2 Guys Podcast 4/21/05 (15.2MB, 33:18 mins)

RSS Feed is here.

There's a portion right around 13:40 where Ken's PowerBook's fan kicks on. We didn't want to re-record things, so sorry about that.

Show notes (a little weird looking right now, hopefully we'll fix them soon):

Great podcast! Audacity is really easy to use. You shouldn't have any trouble. Just hit record and go.

Cool stuff about Google Satellite images!

I love your guys podcasts, this 1 was great but it sounded like you recorded it on the cheapest nastiest tape player with dirty heads from the 80's with an old worn out cassette tape... then the fan kicks on.... oh yeah.
I have no idea what you guys are using microphone wise, but u can buy a really decent mic at your local music store for like $20.
The constant 'tape' like hiss, the random pops and clicks, and the humming fan problem would be greatly reduced with a decent external microphone.
blah blah blah...Im a dick. don't listen to me i am crazy...

iKen 4/22/05, 9:20 PM EDT
hehe.. Thanks for the constructive criticism ME. :)

We actually have some decent mics, they are both mid level sure mics, but we are just holding them. Next time we will take a little time and try to make it work better.

Jonahan 4/23/05, 10:15 AM EDT
Yeah, I dunno why why get some of that crappy noise with decent mics. :-

And we'll give Audacity a go for next time! :)

DJLC 4/23/05, 4:29 PM EDT
When I search Google Maps for "Hell", Elida, Ohio comes up. Could be indicative of who lives in / near there? :-P.

dab2 4/23/05, 8:45 PM EDT
What Are you guys using for software now? I have played with Audacity but have not completely sold.

iKen 4/24/05, 1:20 PM EDT
